NEWS

Klif by Atlas Concorde is a collection of stone-effect ceramic tiles inspired by beola, the gray stone from Val d'Ossola. Today contemporary architecture tends to turn to nature and Klifresponds to this new trend by offering a choice of character for residential and commercial settings. Available in a sequence of four shades of gray – White, Silver, Grey, Dark – and in different formats, Klif lend themselves to the most varied applications both indoors and out thanks to their anti-slip finish.
Challenge:  Remove existing dated ACT ceilings system and replace it with a light reflective, acoustical, fully functioning and accessible ceiling system over 2,000,000 total square feet of the world’s busiest airport, without closing a single gate.
Solution: In collaboration with the design firm, USG Ceilings Plus constructed over 4,400 sf of pre-bid mock-ups that led to the award of all three phases of the project, totaling 750,000 sf Illusions™, 60,000 sf Radians™ and 35,000 sf Barz™.
