NEWS

This issue features buildings representing a wide variety of typologies and scales, built across an expansive geographic range, from a house extension in Canada, a hospital in Estonia, a residential building in Slovenia to a villa in the USA, to name just a few. In addition, you will find interesting stories about Swisspearl in the latest issue. For example a report on how our fiber cement panels are created and an article about our molding shop in Payerne, Switzerland, where our Planters and Design pieces are produced. Let yourself be inspired.
Throughout the middle of the year, NEOLITH® launched the V Edition of MY NEOLITH® PROJECT Design Competition, aimed at Architecture, Interior Design and Construction professionals who have recently completed a NEOLITH® contemporary residential project which features current trends in decoration: mixed materials, neutral elements and soft lines.

After the decision of the judges together with the NEOLITH® Architectural Projects department, the winners are: John Bornas from Workroom (Global Edition), and Ferrater OAB Office of Architecture in Barcelona (National Edition). The prize is a trip for two to Milan (Italy) during the Design Week, where the awards ceremony will take place.
To honour Poul Henningsen’s legacy of ingenious work with shaping light, Louis Poulsen presents a very special limited edition of his treasured PH 3/2 Table lamp. The exclusive version features Italian mouth-blown, amber coloured glass shades that accentuate the shades’ organic form paired with a brass frame.
